This weekend, we welcome The Reverend Katy Craven Campbell, a seminarian from the Seminary of the Southwest, as our preacher for the 8:00 and 10:30 services.
The Rev. Katy Campbell was ordained to the transitional diaconate in November 2022 and is beginning her final semester at Southwest.
Katy currently serves as an intern at St. David’s Episcopal Church in Austin.
Prior to her call to ordained ministry, Katy served as campus missioner at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and enjoyed a twenty-year career as a teacher.
She will begin her ordained ministry at St. James School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania this summer.
Katy’s husband, John Campbell, is also a graduate of Southwest.
She has two children, Anna and Jack.
Sunday’s plate offering will be designated for the Seminary.
