The Order of the Daughters of the King is an order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church and churches in communion with it. Today our membership includes women in the Episcopal, Anglican, Lutheran, and Roman Catholic churches.
The Order of the Daughters of the King was established in 1885. Our Heavenly Rest chapter was formed in 2004.
Daughters undertake a Rule of Life that helps us focus on our walk with Jesus Christ. The Rule of Life incorporates a Rule of Prayer and a Rule of Service.
Any woman of the church can join the order after completing a study period.
We meet once a month on a Sunday afternoon for one hour for study and fellowship.
